Ok now your going to click on the top layer, thats the layer on top of all others. Then go to layer/layer styleand your going to pick a color slightly darker then BBBBBB which is what my color is but yours might be different. The darker color that I chose is 838383. It should start to look really good now. Ok now once you are on the top layer go to layer/duplicate layer. Once you have that go to layer/layer style and make the color white. After you've done that your going to grab the Rectengular Marquee tool and make a selection like you see on my image.
